Wayne Thorsen

Chief Commercial Officer

Wayne Thorsen serves as AST SpaceMobile's Chief Commercial Officer, leading the company's commercial organization and its global partnerships. Mr. Thorsen joined AST SpaceMobile in September 2026 and first worked with the company during his time at Google. He brings more than two decades of experience creating new value on top of established, asset-rich businesses, pairing operating discipline with the products, partnerships, and transactions that open new opportunities.

Most recently, Mr. Thorsen served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of SiriusXM and Pandora, overseeing product and technology, automotive and streaming distribution, marketing and subscriber acquisition, and corporate strategy, including the company's spectrum strategy across SiriusXM's 33 million subscribers. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer of ADT, leading product, technology, business development, and supply chain for more than 6 million subscribers.

Mr. Thorsen was Google’s VP of Devices and Services Business Development, overseeing Google Fi, Pixel, Nest, ATAP, augmented reality, the smart home ecosystem, and satellite connectivity partnerships. He also structured Google’s $450 million strategic investment in ADT. Earlier, he led corporate development and M&A at Viacom, global partnerships at Telefónica Digital, and digital partnerships at Microsoft.

Mr. Thorsen earned his Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, magna cum laude, from Columbia University.
